"Medical emergency". While doing flight Lufthansa 534 from Frankfurt to Caracas this beautiful A330-300 had to divert to Lajes Field due a medical problem with one of the passengers. In about 4 weeks lajes we have in Lajes 3 medical emergencies, this reflect the extreme importance of this airport.
